Charlie Sheen’s comedy Anger Management has had 90 more episodes ordered by FX, so long as it manages to stay above a certain ratings threshold. Martin Sheen (Charlie’s dad) will also become as a series regular.
Seth MacFarlane to host SNL
Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane will host Saturday Night Live for the first time in September, when the new season kicks off. There will be several new regular performers joining the cast too, as Kristin Wiig, Andy Samberg and Abby Elliot announced they would not be returning after last season.
Joss Whedon to create new TV show
Joss Whedon, creator of the iconic Buffy The Vampire Slayer, has had a pilot for his new show S.H.I.E.L.D. ordered by American network ABC. The show will be an action series, “set in the same realm” as his movie Avengers.
