MTV brings the in your face comedy of Kevin Hart to the biggest night in music as he hosts the “2012 MTV Video Music Awards”, airing live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Friday September 7 at 11 a.m. NZT.
The network yesterday announced that the actor and comedian, known for his sharp tongue and self-deprecating humour, will leave no stone unturned as he roasts the world’s biggest stars in music and entertainment.
Additionally, quintessential megastar and five-time MTV Video Music Award winner, P!nk is confirmed to hit the VMA stage. This will be her third time, and it promises to be yet another memorable performance to debut a new song from her upcoming sixth studio album.
In keeping with the “MTV Video Music Awards” tradition, the night will feature extraordinary performances from today’s biggest artists in music, including previously announced VMA performers Alicia Keys and One Direction, and appearances from leading actors and actresses in television and film.
