I’m planning on watching One Born Every Minute
I’m quite excited about the new series of One Born Every Minute starting at 9.30pm on TV One tonight. It’s a behind-the-scenes look at babies being born in a British hospital’s maternity ward. It’s highly likely to make me cry, particularly because I have a one-year-old, so it wasn’t too long ago that she was born into this world.
As many other mothers (and some fathers, too, I’m sure!) will attest, once you have had a baby, suddenly everything becomes a lot more emotional…and that is certainly the case for me. Sad ads on TV make me cry, happy ads on TV make me cry, a piece of music that I associate with my little girl being a baby makes me cry….and don’t even get me started on the animal shows on TV! I watched The Zoo on Sunday night, and poor old Shiloh the zebra had to get put down. I had tears rolling down my cheeks! So, One Born Every Minute is highly likely to have me bawling like a baby….but I’m still going to watch it!
Prime is screening the first Terminator movie tonight at 8.30pm. Watch it for a bit of a giggle – the effects are very dated now! But it’s still quite entertaining.
Tonight’s Tuesday Premiere on Sky Movies is the new version of The Thing tonight at 8.30pm. I’ve seen the original a couple of times, so would be very interested to see what the updated version is like. For those of you not familiar with it, it’s a horror set in an isolated Antarctic outpost, where a group of people are terrorised by a shape-shifting alien.
