What are you watching on TV tonight? Wednesday 8 August

I’m planning on watching The Block NZ, The Glee Project and the Olympics

The Block NZ (TV3, 7.30pm) looks like it’s going to be good tonight, judging by the promo. I’m looking forward to seeing what causes the normally level-headed Rachel to lose her temper with Mark, the host!

Besides temper tantrums, tonight’s episode will see the teams work on their kitchens and dining rooms. Pretty hard ask to do both of those in one week! The kitchen will be a very time-consuming room to do, I’d imagine. Plus, they head to the Hilton Hotel to undertake a gardening challenge.

I’m also looking forward to The Glee Project tonight (Four, 7.30pm), because Jane Lynch (who plays Sue Sylvester on Glee) will be the guest mentor this week! The contenders’ courage is put to the test during a frenzied video shoot that involves swimsuits and frozen slushies. Brrr.

As for the Olympics, tonight I’ll be watching the athletics on SKY Sport 4, from 8.55pm. Events tonight include men’s pole vault, decathlon and 5000m, and women’s hammer throw and 800m. The canoe sprint event is also on SKY Sport 5, from 8.25pm.
