Alec Baldwin wants a spot on Portlandia
Alec Baldwin has told Portlandia star Fred Armisen he would like to guest-star on the quirky comedy. Baldwin joked he could play the part of a meat salesman.
SNL adds three new cast members
With the departure of Kristen Wiig, Andy Samberg and Abby Elliott on Saturday Night Live, some big shoes were left to fill. Producers have now chosen the three people to replace them: Aidy Bryant (a stage performer), Tim Robinson (who also has a part on a new CBS comedy called Friend Me) and Cecily Strong (a sketch veteran). The first three guest-hosts of the season will be Seth MacFarlane, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Daniel Craig.
Liza Minnelli to reprise role on Arrested Development
Reports are that Liza Minnelli will resume her role of Lucille Austero, the older girlfriend of Buster Bluth (Tony Hale), for the new season of Arrested Development, due to air in 2013.
