What to watch: Sunday 30 September

Must watch:

60 Minutes (TV3, 7.30pm)
I’m really looking forward to tonight’s 60 Minutes, as it has an interview with Anna Guy, the former wife of Ewen McDonald, who was recently found not guilty of the murder of her brother, Scott Guy. I can’t wait to see what she says about him, now that the trial is over. She will address questions from reporter Sarah Hall such as, does she agree with the jury’s verdict? What did she know of the night “missions” her husband was carrying out? How are she and her four children coping? And can she ever love again?

Nothing Trivial (TV One, 8.30pm)
Tonight’s episode looks like it’s going to be a good one: Brian and Emma have babies on the brain, Catherine is in denial, and Mac is feeling the pressure.

Record for later:

NRL Grand Final (Sky Sport 2, 7.30pm)
Okay, so this isn’t my idea of a ‘must watch’, but I know it probably is for a lot of people out there, so I’m just putting it in the ‘record for later’ section as a bit of a gesture, really! The Bulldogs take on the Storm at ANZ Stadium in Sydney.

The Break-up (TV3, 8.30pm)
This movie is worth watching. Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn star in this romantic-comedy about the dissolution of a Chicago couple’s line-in romance.

Green Lantern (Sky Movies 1, 8.30pm)
Ryan Reynolds stars as a test pilot an alien ring that bestows him with superpowers, and he is tasked with keeping peace in the universe. It also stars Blake Lively.
