I’m planning on watching Valkyrie
Tom Cruise’s movie Valkyrie is playing on Prime tonight at 8.35pm. I haven’t seen this movie – it’s not one I would have paid to see at the movies (I’m sure a lot of people out there would feel the same way!) – but it’s still one I’d like to see.
As I recall, it didn’t get very good reviews, but Tom Cruise intrigues me, so I’d like to judge for myself how he performs in this movie. He stars as Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg, an officer whose plot to assassinate Hitler comes unfurled during the height of World War II.
TV One is screening Natural World: Desert Seas at 8.30pm. This documentary explores how the peninsula of Arabia was formed, from the ocean it once was, to the desert it is today. It also looks at the Red Sea and the Persian Gulf. David Attenborough narrates (naturally!). Sounds like an interesting doco.
Unfortunately I missed the premiere of Tricky Business last week, but for those of you who will be watching the second episode tonight (TV3, 8.35pm), here’s what’s happening: When Kate confirms that Rick is responsible for the business accounts being fleeced, she tries to put him out of her heart and her mind.
