What to watch tonight: Friday 28 September

Must watch:

The X Factor USA (TV3, 7.30pm)
It’s the final round of auditions tonight. Hopefully there will be another handful of impressive performers. I don’t know how the judges will whittle down the numbers this year. There are so many amazing performers. Looking forward to seeing which group each judge is assigned to after the bootcamp round, as well.

Opening Act (E! 8.30pm)
I saw the promo for this show while watching TV, and even just watching the promo made me feel nervous. The premise of this show is, talented unknown singers who have posted videos of themselves singing on Youtube are selected to be the opening acts for some of the world’s most well-known singers. Tonight, a girl named Arielle is selected to open for Rod Stewart. Eek. No pressure.

Record for later:

Inside The Mind Of Adolf Hitler (History Channel, 7.30pm)
At the height of World War II, the Americans tried to predict how it would all end by getting inside the mind of one man who could determine the final outcome: Adolf Hitler.

The Rich Man’s Wife (Vibe, 8.30pm)
Halle Berry stars as a young woman whose marriage to a much-older man is on the rocks. After she admits she wishes her husband were dead, a short time later his body is found.

If God’s Willing And Da Creek Don’t Rise (Soho, 8.30pm)
If you watched part one of this Spike Lee documentary on New Orleans last week, don’t miss part two (the final part) tonight.
