Homeland renewed for season three
Homeland has been renewed for a third season by its US network, Showtime. The third season will be 12 episodes long, and will begin broadcasting in the US spring 2013 (NZ autumn 2013).

Writer of The Big Bang Theory developing new comedy
Dave Goetsch, who is a writer/executive producer on The Big Bang Theory, is developing a new family comedy with the working title Smells Like Teen Spirit. It’s about an 18-year-old budding entrepreneur who forgoes Harvard to launch an internet business from his family’s garage.
