Last week, TV3 split the episodes of The X Factor USA judges homes segment with tonight’s episode actually airing last week. However, the episode that was due to air in the US today was initially delayed by 45 minutes due to rain interrupting the baseball. Just over an hour of the episode aired before Fox cut the transmission and returned to the game which had, by that stage, had an interruption of nearly three and a half hours.
Fans have gone crazy on Twitter after being made to wait 45 minutes and then have their show cut midway through broadcast. What has infuriated fans further is news that Fox will now screen the episode on Tuesday (Wed NZ).
Expect TV3 to announce a replacement for tomorrow night’s episode.
There is always this risk with fast tracking but at least TV3 won’t be cutting the episode short and have an angry mob of fans like the one Fox is having to deal with right now.
**update** There is the possibility that the first half of the episode will still screen here as it’s already screened in the US and tomorrow night’s episode is only an hour long.
