The Shopping Channel launches in NZ

This week marked the launch of The Shopping Channel on both Sky and Freeview.

The new channel will broadcast 24 hours a day on Sky channel 18 and Freeview 18 and feature fulltime presenters Mike Puru, Candy lane, Lucy Gallaugher and Monty Betham.

    I watched some of the Shopping channel early yesterday morning. They were advertising a deepfryer. I was more interested in what they were cooking with it – a bolognese. But there was just too much talking and not enough demonstrating. I ended up recorded the rest of the piece while I played on my Playstation 3.

    I should just stick to watching Food TV.
