What to watch: Friday 26 October

Must watch:

The First World War From Above (Prime, 7.30pm)
This will be fascinating, I’m sure. It’s the story of the First World War, told from a unique perspective. It features two remarkable finds, including archival footage from an airship, and aerial photos taken by pilots during the war.

Recount (Soho, 8.30pm)
Kevin Spacey stars in tonight’s HBO film. It looks at the 2000 US presidential election, following Florida’s voting problems that led to thousands of ballots being made void or inaccurately counted, dramatically affecting the outcome of the presidency.

Record for later:

The X Factor USA (TV3, 7.30pm)
The remaining contestants await their fate, as Simon and Demi decide which contestants they want to take with them to the live shows.

Changing Faces (Prime, 8.35pm)
Ever wanted to see what Posh and Becks would look like when they’re old? Well now you can! On this show the couple are transformed beyond recognition, and we see what they would look like aged 75.

The President’s Book Of Secrets (The History Channel, 7.30pm)
Uncover the fascinating truth behind some of the most classified secrets in American history. What secrets have been passed down to each US president? I’m definitely going to watch this one – it sounds very intriguing.
