Did you vote for which movie you want to screen on TV3 tonight? The choice was between Date Night, starring Steve Carell and Tina Fey, or My Life In Ruins, starring Nia Vardalos. We won’t know which movie won until 8.30pm. My money’s on Date Night, which is a very funny movie.

60 Minutes tells the story of Matthew Milat, the nephew of Ivan Milat, who killed seven backpackers in Australia in the 1990s. Matthew Milat idolised his uncle to the point of carrying out a murder himself. Plus, Russell Brand gives his thoughts on why his marriage to Katy Perry failed.
The Insatiable Moon (Maori Television, 8.30pm)
The tale of a man with nothing but wisdom, joy and possibly a direct line to God. Arthur (Rawiri Paratene) wanders the streets of Ponsonby on a mission to find the Queen of Heaven. It is based on the novel by Mike Riddell, who also wrote the screenplay and produced this movie.
Media3 (TV3, 11.30pm)
On tonight’s episode, the Media3 team examine the campaigning journalism of Campbell Live. They also look at the new Shopping Channel.
