Hulk TV series on hold

Guillermo del Toro has said that his proposed Hulk TV series has been put on hold since the release of The Avengers movie last year. “I had one more meeting after Avengers with Jeph Loeb from Marvel and he said, ‘We’re working on it, we’re waiting for a writer’,” the director explained. He gave me the name of the writer and their resume and I said, ‘That sounds great, let’s wait for him’, because we had delivered a teleplay and I haven’t heard since then.”

Van Der Beek returning to HIMYM

James Van Der Beek will return to How I Met Your Mother after first making an appearance in a 2008 episode. The former Dawson’s Creek actor will play the same role, that of Robin’s egotistical ex-boyfriend.

Bieber hints at SNL hosting gig

Justin Bieber has hinted that he may be hosting an episode of Saturday Night Live this season. Bieber tweeted: “2013. what’s coming? #snl???” and “Maybe im hosting and performing on SNL…maybe.”

Ryan Lochte reality series greenlit

The E! network has picked up a new reality series centring on US Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte. The series – entitled What Would Ryan Lochte Do? – will follow the swimmer in is everyday life as an elite athlete and family man.
