Big ratings drop for second outing of Seven Sharp

seven-sharp-logoThe second episode of Seven Sharp took a 19.3% dive last night with an average audience of 400,960 compared to 496,950 the night before.  Campbell Live also dropped from 242,820 to 221,710.

The numbers, however, aren’t as bad as they appear at face value when compared to the same period last year.  Close Up dropped 17.9% on its second night but for the same time last year, the drop was only 7.0%.

Don’t celebrate any demise of the show yet though as the numbers, while interesting, mean very little until at this point.
