BSA rejects Nia Glassie promo complaint

beyond-the-darklandsThe Broadcasting Standards Authority has rejected a complaint regarding a promo for a programme looking into the death of three-year-old Nia Glassie.

The complainant argued that the Beyond the Darklands promo used unnecessary graphic language and was sensationalist and distressing.

In taking into account the time the promo aired and the other media attention the case had received, the BSA decided not to uphold the complaint.
