SouthlandMcKenzie talks Southland axe

Southland actor Ben McKenzie has opened up about the cancellation of the LA cop series, saying he hopes audiences take away an impression of it as an honourable show. “I just hope we made a good show and people enjoyed it and I hope it stands up. I hope people can watch years from now and say ‘That was a good episode’, ‘I like what they did there’, ‘I like his performance’, or ‘I like that shot’.”

From Dusk Till Dawn coming to TV

A TV series based on the 1996 crime/horror film From Dusk Till Dawn – which was written by Quentin Tarantino – is being planned by the film’s director Robert Rodriguez.

Aguilera and Green returning to The Voice?

Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green are both reportedly looking at returning to The Voice as judges after a year off the show. The pair were replaced by Usher and Shakira.

HBO orders untitled pilot

HBO has handed out a series order to an untitled comedy/drama pilot based around three gay men in San Francisco. The series will feature Jonathan Groff, Frankie J. Alvarez and Murray Bartlett.
