I don’t think the new X Factor UK panel will reverse its ratings decline. Its an old panel compared with the years when it was at its ratings peak. Even Nicole Scherzinger is too old to be considered the drawcard for the younger demographic. They needed to bring in someone from the north of England. Thats why the ratings have dropped since 2010. Cheryl Cole brought in the Northern demographic that are major X Factor fans (notice the high number of finalists from Liverpool, Newcastle, Scotland). The X Factor has lost that since she left as there is no judge that the north identifies with.
