Sandra Bullock and George Clooney holiday together

Old friends Sandra Bullock and George Clooney traveled to Venice together to promote their film “Gravity.” According to the Daily Mail, the two rode coach, before taking off in water taxis.

After spending time in Clooney’s famed villa in Lake Como, the group jumped on a coach bus, and headed off to the Venice Film Festival.

The movie Gravity features Sandra as medical engineer Dr. Ryan Stone who is on her first Space Shuttle mission accompanied by veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky (George) who is commanding his final expedition.

During a spacewalk, debris from a satellite crashes into the space shuttle Explorer, leaving it mostly destroyed, and stranding them in space with limited air. Without means of communication with Earth, they must cooperate to survive.

Apparently Clooney, who is known for pranks on set, kept things serious while the two were filming. “This film was so hard that pranks had no place,” Bullock said. “There was never down time. How are you going to prank someone who’s hanging from a scaffold with 12 wires, rigged up all day? So we had a truce at the very get-go because that just wasn’t the place to prank.”
