Live Blog: 65th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards

emmyHere are the 2013 Emmy Nominations  airing today and recapped live here, Monday September 23rd. The 65th annual Prime Time Emmy Awards are being broadcast live on Vibe, channel 6 on Sky.

Neil Patrick Harris is hosting so here’s to a good show.  Actually, Jimmy Kimmel, last year’s host crashes the stage to give him some advice since the producers don’t invite hosts back.  He’s then joined on stage by Glee’s Jane Lynch.  And then another former host, Conan O’Brien, who claims when he hosted 900bn people watched the Emmys.  It’s a classic argument.

The opening sketch becomes brilliant, the moment they cut to Kevin Spacey who is in his character from House of Cards and claims he’s sabotaging Neil Patrick Harris’ hosting.  Simply a wonderful opening set.
