hey i was just wandering what you all think about the upcoming week with Big Brother on at 4:30 on 3. i think it would be better on four at 5:30/6:00 what do you think?

    • Jeseta

I gotta agree with you, especially putting it on FOUR. Better suited there and might as well put it against the news, I doubt there will be a lot of audience cross over 😀

      • Russell Gray

Yes, I think so too. I suspect they might move it later.

  • Russell Gray

I’ve been thinking for a while that the +1 channels would be better off being +2, during daylight savings at least.
Under the current setup, the news clashes with the nightly current affairs shows, Neighbours is up against Home & Away, and two DIFFERENT episodes of Millionaire Hotseat are on at the same time. I thnk +3 would be too much as the youth shows would go too far into the evenings, but +1 is too little a gap, so I think +2 would be just about right. You could spend time out in the sun and then watch the news at 8, and current affairs at 9.

    • Jeseta

I think making it plus 2 over the summer is a great idea.

    • Maggie

I love this idea! Watching TV when it’s a lovely evening outside just feels so wrong. How do we make it happen? 🙂
I don’t know about anyone else, but now we have +1 channels for 1, 2 and 3 I find myself really wanting one for 71 (Crime and Investigation) – there are too many good things on that channel that clash with the schedule of everyday life.

I’m going to be busy today (Monday) so here are my bugbears (“contributions”) for the Monday General Discussion:
    * Wheel of Fortune – so now that the recession is officially over, will it be making a comeback?
    * As much as I love Deal or No Deal, why does Prime show it twice on weeknights (at 5pm and 6pm respectively). Why can’t they sign up to get ‘The Price is Right’ like they did some years back?
    * Why, oh why, do we have to have two networks showing ‘Millionaire Hot Seat’ an hour apart (the Prime version’s obviously a lot older though). How can it be that two competing networks are allowed to buy, and screen, the same show anyway? It’s a fun show, but not that fun …
    * How come we aren’t seeing the content on the E! channel that aired in the States two months ago? There was a ‘Scandals of Hollywood’ documentary that aired in parts back then, but there’s no sign of it in the upcoming schedule here … just an overload of those hideous Kartrashians! Ugh!
    * What happened to that ‘Brunch’ programme hosted by April Iremia and Josh Kronfield that was on Choice last year? I’ve Googled but can’t see any word of it being cancelled … is it coming back? It was a good alternative to ‘Good Morning’ … it wasn’t perfect, but had potential.
That’s all from me for today … sorry for the negative post – there’s not much I DO like about TV at the moment!
