    Very confident isn’t it

Good promo. I’ll definitely be watching! 🙂

That nasty suit looks like the one my (once) chubby cousin Leon wore at his Bar Mitzvah – I think he even wore Converses. As a non-Kiwi I do find this country’s regard for this profoundly mediocre man utterly confounding.

    • Jeseta

Woah, woah, woah we don’t all like him! In fact many of us can’t stand him….

      • Danny TV Professional

Point taken. It is a comfort (and i mean this) to know you and I, Jeseta, find him objectionable. That’ll be a comfort in Whitcoulls next time I see his latest vapid book flying off the shelves or I hear some gormless clod say “he just says what we think”.

        • Jeseta

Haha! We can live in hope that this show won’t last long too.

It will be interesting to see if the countries appetite for Paul Henry is gone or at least reduced. Remember he hasn’t really been a regular fixture on TV since 2010 so many people have moved on.

          • Jeseta

Yes, and he can’t stir up controversy every night of the week – I’m very interested to see how this goes.

promo reminds me of Seven Sharp ads before it aired…not sure that’s a good thing though…

  • Jeseta

Ah, the suit and converse. A very edgy look about ten years too late…

I sense this will have very high ratings upon premiering as curious people tune in, which will then drop off drastically.

    • Regan Cunliffe

Do you think it will rate higher than Seven Sharp did on debut? Will it have a higher or lower percentage drop off?

      • k

know this ain’t my q but I feel like answering anyway.
I don’t think it will rate higher than SS’s debut, I don’t think there will be quite as much interest because 1) its not prime tine telly 2) its tv3 and 3) PH has a lot of haters that just won’t bother with it.
I think it will have a lower drop off because I think the format will work and people will stick with it…..just my thoughts

      • Jeseta

I imagine the numbers will be lower than Seven Sharp’s debut based on the typical TV1 vs TV3 ratings imbalance but I think the drop off will be the same if not more. It will probably take a few weeks to settle into an average rating but I can’t imagine it rating well in the long term.

Can’t wait should be interesting shame about the late start thought it would start the same week as firstline it makes sense

It may start a week earlier, alot of the programmes are.
