Why is it that TV One’s ‘relief news team’ is better than the permanent one?
Lisa (last name escapes me – used to be Simpson), is a fantastic newsreader and I hope SHE would be willing to Auckland to do the co-presenter role on Breakfast. She used to relieve for Michael Wilson back in the day and is so polished and professional – she’d really give that show the boost it needs, I think.
I also like Abby Scott doing the sports – she’s great!

Renee Wright has been dumped from TV One’s late night news bulletin.
Good move – having a dedicated weather presenter on late night news is a ridiculous waste of money.
I hope they don’t put her on Breakfast at the Co-Host (which is what I think will happen, as they don’t seem to want Nadine in that role) … they need to put someone professional, upbeat and who has a level of intelligence in that seat. And not to mention someone who can work with Rawdon who comes across as dififcult to worth with (I don’t know if he is, but he comes across as that to me).
