It never ceases to amaze me how nasty and callous people are … even in her death, people are still having a go (refer: Trade Me messageboard) they hide behind their keyboards and post the most inane things they’d probably never dream of saying face to face … shame on them.

So sad – she seemed to be in a much happier state recently. Still so annoyed that Mike Hosking called to ask her opinion on Lorde’s complaint about the NZ media, yet all that got reported was what she said (leave NZ). There was a huge backlash from people asking who she thinks she is to comment; why we should care what she thinks, etc., put into context – that he called her, she didn’t just comment out of the blue, it would have helped!

I was just reading the online entry form for ‘My Kitchen Rules’ … gosh, finding people who can take periods of time off work over six months might be a bit of a mission. (They won’t need them for the full six months, just over periods of it [and presumably for more time at the end, if they get that far]).
I wonder if it might replace MasterChef next year, considering the timing (a couple of months to accept, and audition contestants; six months for production; three-four months for post-production) – it’ll probably air about this time next year. And it would be overkill to have both shows on TV.
I remember that lovely lady who applied for MasterChef last year / the year before last, who had to resign from her job to do the competition. And then she left in week three 🙁 It’s worth the risk, I suppose …
