The GC ends on a high

The second season of The GC ended last night with the highest rating episode of the series.  An average audience of 221,670 viewers tuned in for the Gold Coast Maori last outing for 2014.

It was a far more consistently rating series second time around but the numbers were still well down on the first season.

In 2012, the show had an average audience on 299,755 viewers.  This equates to a 38% drop in audience this time around.

Interestingly, the first season screened in May while this year the series began in February.  The final episode numbers may also reflect that it screened post daylight savings.

They skipped a year in between series also, which was odd. Do you think they have a chance at a third series Regan?

I reckon they did good this year. Rosie and Tama are the clear stars.
