Will Packer’s life is being turned into an autobiographical comedy called Like Father, Like Son at NBC.

Manhattan has been renewed for a second season.

The CW have bought mystery drama The Town which centers on a young man who starts investigating his parents’ suicide and he suspects murder and finds the entire town is culpable.

Monica Potter (Parenthood) will be staying with NBC at the end of the show and will appear in a new untitled half-hour comedy pilot being produced by Ellen DeGeneres.

The 2005 movie Monster-in-law is heading to television thanks to Amy B Harris (The Carrie Diaries) and John Riggi (30 Rock).

CBS is adapting the hit Finnish legal drama Mustat Lesket for the US market as Black Widows.

Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are developing a futuristic espionage thriller for Syfy called Incorporated.

FOX has unsurprisingly ordered a full season of Gotham.

American Horror Story has landed a fifth season pickup at FX.

First there was a game, then came the movie and now a television adaptation is on the way for Resident Evil.

Netflix are giving Care Bears a reboot with a new animated series.

The CW are prepping a drama about Charles Darwin about a five year voyage on the HMS Beagle ahead of his Origin of The Species.

CBS have also commissioned Modern Gothic which is described as a modern-day reimagining of classic gothic horror stories as contemporary mysteries in which a doctor — Dracula’s Abraham “Bram” Van Helsing — investigates the supernatural horrors that modern science fails to explain.
