Brokenwood Mysteries wins bronze at New York Festivals International Television and Films Awards

The Brokenwood MysteriesPrime’s new local drama The Brokenwood Mysteries not only resonated with Kiwis but has knocked out some stiff international competition to win Bronze in the TV Drama category at the 2015 New York Festivals International Television and Film Awards.

The Brokenwood Mysteries is comprised of four two-hour murder mystery stories set in a seemingly quiet country town where the town’s newest resident, Detective Inspector Mike Shepherd, finds that murder lurks in even the most homely location. Produced by South Pacific Pictures, The Brokenwood Mysteries was made with funding assistance from New Zealand On Air.

Prime is very much looking forward to welcoming back Mike, his partner Detective Kristin Sims and the rest of the eclectic inhabitants of Brokenwood for a second series later this year.
