Poor Paul Henry… his show has lost quite a bit of steam since it began (for the TV audience anyway). I would like to see highlights of his show at 5.30 when The Block: Fans vs Favourites finishes. If TV3 has any sense, they will do this.

Otherwise, set up a sister channel to The Edge TV which has music videos from other MediaWorks radio stations – namely The Rock, The Breeze, More FM, George, Mai and Radio Live. Paul Henry’s show would fill the Radio Live slot so now you have extended all these brands’ reach at a low cost.

Hmm, I just think they should drop it from TV all together.

The problem with a highlights show going on before the news is that the highlights won’t be current. It’s like reading a morning paper before you watch the news – it’s basically yesterday’s news.

Could be good to balance out John Campbell’s left leaning post-news show with a pre-news right-wing one…with the news in the middle!!

Interestingly, Radio Live run a highlights at 7pm

Yeah, those numbers are back in the vicinity of Firstline
