Ratings: Final week of Campbell Live vs Seven Sharp

The Friday night finale of Campbell Live saw John Campbell depart on a high as the average audience soared to 484,450 viewers, the highest it had ever been. An additional 48,120 viewers tuned in for the delayed broadcast on TV3’s plus 1 channel.

The final episode lifted the weekly average by 15% on the previous week to 339,054 viewers per night. On last year, the average was up 37%. Sadly, however, the weekly average was still down 16% on 2013 despite the big send off.

Despite Campbell Live having it’s best week since the beginning of July 2013, TV One’s Seven Sharp drew an average audience of 446,498 viewers. The gap between the two shows was still more than 100,000 viewers on average per night.

Seven Sharp’s numbers were down 1% on the previous week but their best night of the week was still 54,260 viewers more than Campbell Live’s big finale.

On 2014, the figures were actually down 2%. It was an 18% increase for TV One on 2013 though.
