I may have missed it somewhere, but are there stats on how many people view stuff on demand rather than watching it on TV? Sometimes there’s not much between the TV3 and TV2 all day audience share, so I’m assuming that a lot of their target audience prefers online viewing.

  • Drew

With those figures, House of Cards should be given a prime time spot on FOUR. Quite surprised people actually tuned into the replay last night despite its graveyard slot and FOUR not in HD.

    3D: TV3 37920 (9:35pm – 10:05pm)
I guess tv3 now have an excuse to axe it due to bad ratings ?

    • Tania

It’s such a silly timeslot to place it in.
And last night’s offerings were not the best …
It’s such a shame as I’m sure they’d find plenty to investigate and report on if they dug a little deeper.

And next week’s offerings seem just as bad! Gloriavale – again – really? Come on … this has been done to death and there is far more happening out there that they could be reporting on. This show is just lazy – as is ‘Sunday’, which used to be really good.

The phrase “flogging a dead horse” comes to mind

Hahahaha! FOUR beats TV3 from 8:30-10:30! I knew putting Heroes Reborn on TV3 was a mistake. And that’s not the same type of audience who’d want to watch 3D! This whole thing is just going up in flames.

    • Jay

^ bit nasty to talk about a former employer like that.

  • Tania

The numbers for The Block are much like a lot of the comments made on the show’s Facebook (before whomever is managing the page whips in and deletes them) … dire. This year’s seems like such a budget version of the production … no games to tempt the viewers into tuning in; no prizes to tempt the viewers (unless you can be bothered getting a quote from AMP); no sign of Bunnings or Wild Bean sponsorship; a terrible host and co-host; dreadful contestants … I just can’t see it improving.
