Mediaworks Weekly Highlights Report: 30 November 2015

MediaworksTV3 enjoyed another successful Friday night of comedy on November 28. The Graham Norton Show, 7 Days and Funny Girls won across all four demos.

Perennial local comedy favourite 7 Days achieved an 8.0 rating and a 29.1 share, with Graham Norton getting a 7.9 and a 26.6 and Funny Girls 5.6 and a 24 share (all in 25 to 54).

TV3 also won Sunday night across all the four key demos. The room reveal episode of The Block NZ Villa Wars on Sunday 29 November achieved a massive 10.3 rating and 27.9 in 24-54.

The Block NZ Villa Wars has been enormously popular with viewers. It has averaged a 9.4 rating with a 25 share. The Block has also been the top VOD programme since it launched, with eight consecutive weeks at number one. To date, 2,557,900 have watched the show (5 plus cume).

Paul Henry cracked its highest rating for the year to date last week on Friday attracting a 2.4 rating against 25-54. The average weekly rating for 25-54 has lifted by 150 per cent compared to launch week, and year on year ratings are up by 175 per cent. The 25-54 cumulative audience and share on radio has grown year on year by 14 per cent and 37 per cent respectively.

Paul Henry is gaining more traction on line with live streams rising by 37 per cent in recent months. Live streams now account for 60 per cent of Paul Henry’s total streams.
