Featuring her first television performance since 2013 and songs from her latest album 25, TV3 will broadcast the exclusive British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) special, Adele Live in London, on the channel tonight.

In the one-time-only 90-minute exclusive special created by BBC Music, English singer-songwriter Adele Adkins (more commonly addressed by her mononym) will perform some of her world-famous classic tracks, as well as eagerly awaited new material from her album 25, for the very first time. Adele will be accompanied by her live band and perform in front of a live studio audience. She will give her first televised performance of her latest single, Hello, during the special.

In between songs, host Graham Norton talks to Adele about her career and extraordinary life to date. There’s also some fun to be had as Adele gets up close and personal with some of her biggest fans.

The exclusive show is being distributed for international broadcast by BBC Worldwide. Salim Mukaddam, Director of Music for BBC Worldwide, said they are thrilled to be able to bring the special to a global audience.

“The world has been waiting a long time for this title and we’re thrilled to be able to work with Adele and the BBC to bring this extraordinary piece of prime time television to a global audience. Featuring a sensational performance from Adele, as well as a candid interview with Graham Norton and some hilarious and surprising moments, Live in London is truly worth the wait,” he said.

The show was filmed and broadcast in the United Kingdom last month, under the name Adele at the BBC.

So poorly promoted; such a waste. TV3 paid through the nose for this too BTW.
