Mediaworks happy with When Hilary met Oprah

TV3 screened When Hilary Met Oprah last night in place of Story and were pretty happy with the performance.

A spokesperson for Mediaworks told Throng that almost 400,000 people (5+ cume) tuned in to the programme, achieving the highest ratings and share (in their target demographic of 25-54) at 7pm since the launch week of Story.

In TV3’s target 25-54 demographic 204,000 people tuned to the show compared to 169,200 on Seven Sharp (cume).

With an overall rating of less than 200,000, does that mean the average viewer only watched half the interview? That’s a real poor retention for a 30 minute episode.

Just one big promo for her NZ show .. Hilary was good though.

Wonder why they didn’t put it on a Friday instead of that shite The Goldbergs ?
