ONE News catches up with Crowded House in "1922"

If you have read the ONE News or Breakfast Facebook pages in the last 12 or so hours, you may have noticed that ONE News reportedly caught up with Australian band Crowded House “on this day in 1922” cutting a record at a “secret New Zealand location”.

These posts are still up on their pages and attracting many comments.

Its a very funny and silly blooper; ONE News actually filmed the piece in 1992.

The band formed in 1985, so have only been around for 30 years. In 1922, no members were even born, and colour television and the film quality shown certainly wasn’t around.

Crowded House are known for being hugely popular in Australia, New Zealand and around the world. Formed and fronted by legendary kiwi musician Neil Finn, the band charted many hits including Don’t Dream It’s Over, Fall at Your Feet, Weather with You and Four Seasons in One Day.

    I don’t think TV was around in 1922 🙂
