America's Next Top Model Season 12 Premiere

7:30pm - Friday, February 12 on TV 3
Top Model is back, baby! Hosted by recent New Zealand visitor Tyra Banks, America's Next Top Model returns to our screens with the premiere of its 12th cycle, screening on Friday, February 12th at 7:30pm on 3.
This week's season premiere brings together 34 gorgeous girls to Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. Of course, only 13 will survive this initial episode and move into a luxurious Upper East Side apartment in New York City where the real fun and catty games begin.
However, in true America's Next Top Model tradition, this cycle will once again see a twist in the competition. Banks, who created the series to counter stereotypes of who and what is considered beautiful, says this cycle's contestants will once again redefine beauty.

Issac Hindin Miller has been tipped off that the contestants from the 14th cycle of America's Next Top Model are about to arrive in New Zealand along with ANTM host, supermodel and talk show host Tyra Banks.
According to his anonymous tipster, the show will film either Thursday or Friday of this week. The most likely location of course is Queenstown.
Vogue Magazine's Andre Leon Talley is also rumoured to be arriving as guest judge for the episodes.
There is a $5m USD non-disclosure agreement in place to prevent leaks. It will be interesting to see what else comes out this week about what is being shot and who is involved.
America's Next Top Model Series Finale

7:30pm - Friday, October 30 on TV 3
Join supermodels Tyra Banks and Paulina Porizkova with runway coach Miss Jay Alexander and model-turned-photographer Nigel Barker as they crown the next winner of America's Next Top Model on Friday, October 30th at 7:30pm on 3.
At the beginning of this season, ex-supermodel and newcomer to the series Porizkova made it very clear that she was not going to "censor herself" and always speak her mind and give the wannabe models "real criticism".
With this "real criticism" the last 13 weeks have seen Porizkova and her fellow judges whittle down the original group of 14 girls to just three. Now the time has come to choose the Cycle 11 winner!
But before the winner is announced, this final week will see the pressure being turned up as the three remaining ladies shoot a cosmetics commercial and walk a winding runway to determine the winner.

There's something a little different about the upcoming cycle of America's Next Top Model. The hit reality series is breaking the norm with one of its latest cycle cast members. America's Next Top Model premieres its 11th cycle on Friday, August 7th at 7:30pm on 3.
"Some people might say I'm transgender, some people might say transsexual. Personally, I prefer 'born in the wrong body,'" 11th cycle hopeful Isis explains to Entertainment Tonight.
According to America's Next Top Model executive producer Ken Mok, the decision to cast a transgender contestant in the show's upcoming season was done to help further one of host and Executive Producer Tyra Banks' initial reasons for launching the long-running reality series.

This week’s exciting instalment of the hit reality series America’s Next Top Model sees the winner of a pose challenge selected to work with photographer and judge Nigel Barker when the series screens on Friday, January 16th at 7:30pm on 3.
But what many fans, as well as the girls in this cycle’s competition, may not realise is that Barker himself once competed to be a “Top Model”.
Barker recently spoke about the competition that was his big break into the industry, saying it was actually his mother – who has also previously appeared on America's Next Top Model – who got him to compete.
“My mum was Miss Sri Lanka years ago, and she became obsessed with this model search show called The Clothes Show. She entered me in it in the mid 80s, and I got into the top three. I was studying to be a doctor at the time, but that show launched my modelling career,” he told stuff.co.nz.
