TVNZ are slashing TV One’s prime time rate card after plummeting ratings and a slowing economy.

The rate card will see a 14% drop across the board for the first quarter of 2007.

The rate card, which was released yesterday, has been touted by some in the advertising industry as not being agressive enough.

TV3 and C4 release their rate card next week followed by Prime shortly after.

The third season of Battlestar Galactica starts in the US this week and the question I want answered is how long will New Zealand have to wait until it screens here. And then, what night of the week will it be on?

There has been some great promotion and publicity online including the 10 webisodes created as a bit of a bridge between season two and season three which has left me hanging out for another suspense filled season.
