I’ve only just ‘discovered’ Damien Leith and am really impressed!:)

Didn’t follow Australian Idol, but recently saw an article about him in an Auusie mag – and looked up his web-site and the Aussie Idol website.
Having listened to all his songs from the show, and his interviews, think what a very talented person he is, not only singing, but also writing his own songs and playing his own music.

Listening to his songs without the competition from others, and judges comments makes a difference, I’ve listening just to him – and liked what I’ve seen and heard.

Yes, I’m most definately a fan – and hope we get to hear of him in this country. (Not that I’m really expecting to.:()

Not much chat here about Survivor lately. Anyway, I’m still enjoying this series, just not been here to talk about it lately.

Was really glad to see Nate and Candice go. She really had it coming to her after the go she had at everyone round the fire, if nothing else would have made them want to get rid of her – that would have!

Shame to see Jonathon voted off. He wasn’t so bad, just thought the other team were lazy and told them what he thought of them. Last week they all had as much chance to bid for the food as he did, then resented the fact that he got it! Looks like he’s got a nice wife. Just so close to winning that game, then it would have been a very different result I think!
Can’t understand why the other 4 voted for Jonathan, stupid move. He wasn’t a threat to them whereas Adam is. Can’t stand Adam anyway. He’s so cocky and thinks everyone(well the girls anyway) all love him! Yuk! Could be a bad move, especially as most of the jury are from Adam’s team.

Concerned about next week, looks like the 4 that seemed really loyal and tight seem to be splitting up and going against each other.

Really would like to see Ozzie win, and think he’s the one that deserves to.

So what’s happened to Atlantis mid-season?
Thought at first it was just off for a couple of weeks over Xmas. But now it doesn’t look like it’s coming back – in the short-term anyway!
Will just have to buy the DVD I guess – but all the shops I’ve looked in seem to be sold out!:(

It’s got to the time of year when there’s nothing on TV – what I like anyway!:( One series after another has been finishing!:( Even Atlantis has stopped halfway through a series!:( The only thing left I do want to watch is Survivor!

Time to explore the Galaxy and get out my StarTrek and Stargate DVDs!:)
Just added to what I had and now have complete sets of Next Generation and SG1!:) So will keep the evenings entertaining for quite some time!:)

So won’t have much to talk about here for a while!:(

The new team of just 4 Aitu members are the best team ever. Really great bunch of people and hope they all stick together to the end! Was so happy they won both challenges!:)

So do not like Jonathan – the others were all right when they said they didn’t trust him. He should have gone. Hope he does next week. Hated his smile when he was still there at the end.:(

Tate is still the other one I don’t like – don’t like what comes out of his mouth!:(

‘True Hollywood Story: American Idol’ was on Monday.
Really interesting to watch – next to no singing, but the story from the beginning, how Simon tried to get it on TV in America and how no-one wanted to take it on in the beginning.
The first series covered a large part of the programme, including showing the clashes between Paula and Simon, and the trouble she had with his harsh-ness. He said he had a bruised side from where she kept hitting and nudging him. Randy also had trouble with him.
By the second series things had settled down more.
Showed how the first series progressed and how Kelly was not picked out as a possible winner until quite late.
Then showed bits of Clay and Ruben, 2 unlikely top placers.
Then briefly the outcome of following years.
Also saw William Hung and heard more of him singing than anyone else.

Showed the huge success it it in America – and continues to be. Also the huge success the winners and other top placers have afterwards. Makes me wonder even more, why NZ Idol isn’t it so successful here! And why the winners receive no recognition by the media.

So much to read, up-to-date information, full stories and reviews of all epsisodes with instant references to all characters or relating incidences, plus forums that may be well ahead of what we’re seeing on TV in NZ, in most of the current discussions, but the chat about what we’re seeing still worth reading – and can still be added to if you want to of course!

Been reading about the fact that all wraith feedings – right up to middle of Season 3 – are on males! Never realised that!
Also about how wraiths are like vampires that have been talked about here on earth for generations, and examples of many vampire stories from the past.
