VIBE – Friday 11 December, 8.30pm

With the ranks of professional baseball depleted by players going off to war, in 1943 minor leagues were closing down and it was feared the majors might do the same. Thus was born the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. Washed-up ballplayer Jimmy Dugan, who is hired to coach a team of athletic and driven young women including Dottie Hinson, the “baseball Dollie” with the Babe Ruth swing, and her younger sister Kit Keller. A comic look at the true story of these amazing young women who left their homes to become part of the league and revel in a skill they might once have been ashamed of, and made history in the process.

10 amateur photographers get the chance to live out their wildest fantasies in pursuit of their dream: to become the next great fashion photographer. The cast will live and work together in a downtown L.A. loft while being guided by world-renowned fashion photographer Russell James. For the first time in their lives, the cast will work with supermodels and high-end professionals, while travelling to exotic locations – all to capture that one perfect shot.

A group of talented hairstylists from around the world (including Tabatha Coffey from Tabatha’s Salon Takeover) will literally go head-to-head in creative challenges that require more than just talent with a comb and scissors. Whether it’s the bob, bouffant, perm, or chignon, hair becomes an art form as the contestants with a flair for hair compete in challenges that could put them one step closer to being crowned a SHEAR GENIUS. Hosted by Golden Globe-nominated actress, designer, and entrepreneur Jaclyn Smith (Charlie’s Angels), this reality series offers a behind-the-scenes look at the competitive and creative world of high-end hairstyling.

Follow five sophisticated women and their families who lead glamorous lives in a picturesque Southern California gated community where the average home has a $1.6 million price tag. From diamond parties to Botox sessions, this show is The O.C meets Desperate Housewives… but in reality.

She might have snagged an Emmy®, but Kathy Griffin (Suddenly Susan) is still on the D-list. Griffin returns for a fourth season in this unscripted series that documents the comic’s life and efforts to keep her career afloat. My Life on the D List is an insider’s look at the indignities and encounters that can only happen to a well-known and under-appreciated comic doing what it takes to make a living.

VIBE – Mondays from 7 December, 8.30pm

The Most Haunted Team are back on Vibe, and this time they are in the US – will American paranormal phenomena match that which they’ve found in the UK?

Led by Yvette Fielding, whose open mind and objectivity represent the agnostics amongst us, the team are prepared to forsake comfort and safety to spend twenty-four hours in some of America’s most renowned haunted properties, starting with the Stanley Hotel, made famous by Stephen King’s The Shining. Along the way, the team examines the many manifestations of ghosts, from poltergeist to doppelgangers, possessions to apparitions. Hear from those people whose lives have been turned upside down by departed souls and see all the paranormal phenomena that the team experiences.
