Overnight Dates In Queenstown on The Bachelor

Friday 17 July, 8.30pm
Romantic adventures await Jason Mesnick on The Bachelor, and the final three women Jillian, Molly and Melissa as they travel to the other side of the world for overnight dates in our very own Queenstown.
Tonight promises a wild, romantic ride with each of the women, until Jason has to make a heart-wrenching decision to eliminate one of them. Arriving in style from Los Angeles, Jason swoops in to pick up Jillian in a helicopter. Captivating views set the scene for a romantic picnic overlooking Lake Wakatipu, where they discuss their views on love and marriage.
Molly takes a leap of faith with Jason on a thrilling day of bungee jumping over the Kawarau River. Finally, Jason takes Melissa on an exhilarating boat ride on the vessel once owned by Sir Winston Churchill. Later the couple goes to the Stoneridge Estate and spend an intimate evening in a hot pool overlooking Lake Hayes.
Jason Mesnick told Tourism New Zealand that New Zealand is the most beautiful place he's ever been. "The people were so kind and generous and that is a huge part of the entire experience. The beauty of Queenstown is unmatchable anywhere."
Tourism New Zealand Chief Executive George Hickton says money can't buy the kind of exposure Jason has given New Zealand on the world stage.
"With a massive media industry, the US is a tough market to get our message across in," he says. "But the messages from Jason Mesnick have reached a huge audience in the US and beyond."
The scenery is sure to well up pride with all New Zealanders as our breathtaking landscapes are profiled.
"The programme itself has helped create 'a buzz' around New Zealand as a destination profiling our stunning landscapes and the experiences many US travellers would be unaware they could have here," says Hickton.
Jason is more confused than ever as he heads into the rose ceremony. With three women and only two roses, he makes a tough decision and sends one woman home in tears. The final two prepare to meet his family and hope that he will choose them.
The New Zealand Bachelor journey continues and sees captivating Northland as the backdrop for the upcoming final in two weeks time.
