Halloween is upon us again and MTV is celebrating with some freaky Sunday night specials to scare you out of your chucks. So before you head out door knocking in your mum’s favourite Egyptian cotton sheets with your dad’s shaving cream make sure you catch My Super Sweet Psycho 16 and Valemont movies on MTV!
 
MTV is big, bad and scary this Halloween Sunday 31 October starting @ 8:30 PM with Valemont: The Movie followed by My Super Psycho Sweet 16.

Eastbound & Down | Season 2 - NZ Premiere Friday 29 October @ 9 pm

Grab your six-pack (of beer obviously) and slide into your moulded groove on the couch because Kenny Powers is back for a second inning on Comedy Central!

At the end of the first season, Kenny had been dropped by the Tampa Bay Rays, dumped his girlfriend and was last seen driving away with a worried look on his face. In Season Two, hiding from his problems, Kenny finds himself holed up in a small town in Mexico where he ends up joining the local baseball team. New additions to the cast include Michael Peña as the owner of the local team and Ana de la Reguera as Kenny’s new love interest. Stevie Janowski manages to track Kenny down and together they make plans for Kenny’s inevitable comeback - one brew at a time. You have to admit, the best thing about being Kenny Powers is being Kenny Powers.

Scream Queens 2 - Premieres Wednesday 27 October @ 9:30 PM
 
The second season of Scream Queens takes 10 aspiring actresses through a horror film bootcamp where they are tested with gruesome physical challenges and stunts whilst simultaneously honing their acting skills. The weakest will be axed and the one actress with the talent, looks and especially strong lungs will be crowned Scream Queen earning herself a breakthrough role in ‘Saw 3D’!

Jackass Week - Premieres Monday through Friday starting October 25 @ 5:30 and 10:30 PM
 
Get ready for the Jackass crew to take over MTV for a whole week of stupid stunts and outrageous pranks. Yes.  To celebrate the launch of the new Jackass 3D movie, the cast has decided to forcefully hijack MTV with flashbacks of the most classic episodes and special behind the scenes footage all hosted by the special guys that make up Jackass themselves. This will certainly be a week of mayhem!
 
Make sure you put your cup in before switching on Monday through Friday starting October 25 @ 5:30 and 10:30 PM.

Comedy Central Roast of the Hoff - NZ Premiere Wednesday 20 October @ 8:30 pm 

Love him or hate him, everyone has something to say about The Hoff! You might ask how anyone could possibly make fun of the world’s most famous lifeguard cum German pop icon? Comedy Central is ready to find out! Seth McFarlane is the official Roast Master leading a star-studded panel of celebrity guests all fired up to dish the dirt! David’s roasters include Pamela Anderson, Hulk Hogan, Lisa Lampanelli, Gilbert Gottfried and Jerry Springer. The Hoff will be drowning in insults. And there’s no lifeguard to save him!

Pick Me MTV - Premieres Thursday 7 October @ 7:30 PM

MTV is scouring the nation for fresh blood searching for someone who possesses on screen charisma like never before. We endeavor to find NZ’s most motivated, hip and stylish individual who is up for some most amazing opportunities. For our biggest search ever, candidates will enter via the MTV website where public voting will decide the top 50.  The top 50 will then be taken through a rigorous series of challenges in order to determine MTV’s newest addition.  And the best part is, it’s all being filmed for a six-part series airing on MTV!

All New Stand-Up Specials - NZ Premiere Starts Wednesday 6 October @ 8:30 pm

Comedy Central delivers the best international comedians direct to your living room.  This October, we have a fantastic selection of hot stand-up specials. Comics on Screen takes a behind-the-scenes look at the comedy industry featuring archive clips and interviews with top stand-ups. We’ve got a one-hour special with Denis Leary: Lock N’ Load. His biting comedy rants are fantastic and a great introduction if you haven’t seen him before. Rounding out the month, Tracy Ullman in the Trailer Tales is a hilarious mockumentary of Ruby Romaine a 70 year old Hollywood makeup artist. So if you’re having a rough week, order in some fish & chips, cuddle up to your loved ones and tune in to the 010. Comedy Central will take care of the rest!

Party Down - NZ Premiere Wednesday 6 October @ 8 pm

What happens when aspiring actors come to Hollywood and can’t land a part? They make ends meet in the catering business of course! Comedy Central’s brand spanking new series ‘Party Down’ follows the highs and lows of six Hollywood hopefuls as they grin and bear it through Sweet Sixteen parties to swanky Hollywood soirees. The series stars Adam Scott (Parks and Recreation), Jane Lynch (Glee), Lizzy Caplan (True Blood) and Ken Marino (Role Models). Guest appearances come thick and fast.  So keep your eyes peeled..
