Parky & Shane Warne Go Head To Head
Michael "Parky" Parkinson will go head to head with Australia’s greatest ever bowler, Shane Warne, in a frank television exclusive "one-on-one" interview for UKTV.
Set to be one of the most anticipated television interviews of the year, PARKINSON: THE SHANE WARNE INTERVIEW will be recorded before a live studio audience and will air in early January, 2007, exclusively on UKTV (SKY Digital Channel 6).
Parkinson, an enthusiastic cricket fan, is regarded as one of world’s best television interviewers, while Warne is one of the greatest and most charismatic cricketers of our time who has been dogged by a number of off-field controversies.
The interview will have no boundaries and will cover Warne’s stellar career on the cricket field, as well as his personal mishaps and controversies on and off the field. The Shane Warne interview is the first of a number of planned specials which Michael Parkinson will record in Australia for UKTV.

Craziest Woman Alive
This week was the most shocking episode of Trading Spouses I have ever seen! Margaret Perrin (pictured) is absolutely crazy! She is an extremely devoted christian who has gone to live with a family of astrologists and hypnotherapists.
There are all these little gargoyle statues around the house, and stars, and all other kind of alternative things.. and she went crazy, saing there is a presence and ran outside spewing into the garden!
At the end of this episode she finally exploded when she met a psychic at a radio show, screaming that "this is not of God!!!!" Running around crying, saying that she just needs a church, she just needs some prayer!
The conclusion episode next Friday at 9.30pm looks even more crazy, with her tearing up her prize envelope and screaming at the top of her lungs "I CANNOT TAKE THISSS!!! THIS IS EVIL!! THIS IS TAINTED!! I AM A WARRIOR OF GOD!! SHE IS NOT A CHRISTIANNNNN!!! GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!!"

Repeats of the FOX reality show Trading Spouses have replaced Rove Live on TV3 Friday nights, after his show was cancelled due to the death of his wife.
I am very pleased with this move as I absolutely love this show and sadly missed the last season of it! Now that Eating Media Lunch is online, I can watch Trading Spouses without any worry.
No Full-time Comeback Yet For Clint Brown
A TV comeback for former TV3 sports presenter Clint Brown is not yet on the cards despite his appearance on sports quiz show Game of Two Halves this week.
Show regular, comedian Mike King, sported a fake black eye during the episode on rival network TVNZ in reference to an alleged assault that lead to the ending of Brown's 17-year career with TV3.
Brown, who had been off screen since September, said his involvement in the sports quiz show was "just a guest appearance" and was not the start of a comeback.
"There's nothing to say at this stage," said Brown. "Sorry I can't talk."

CanWest Won't Be Same Downunder

By John Drinnan
The only thing that seems certain about the future of CanWest Global Communications operations in New Zealand and Australia is that they will not stay the same.
TV3 and the other broadcasting assets in CanWest MediaWorks New Zealand look set to be caught up in its parent company reviewing its South Pacific investments.
The Canadians say they are unlikely to retain the status quo.
CanWest Global Communication owns 70 per cent of publicly listed CanWest MediaWorks New Zealand and a 56.4 per cent economic interest in the Ten Network in Australia.
But with media ownership rules likely to change across the Tasman there is widespread speculation it plans to sell assets that include half New Zealand's commercial radio stations.
Speaking after the CanWest MediaWorks New Zealand annual meeting yesterday the chairman of CanWest New Zealand - Winnipeg-based Global executive Tom Strike - said he expected something would happen. "The status quo is an option but it's not a likely outcome."
