Chuck on TV2
8:30pm Wednesday, September 15 on TV2
Tonight on Chuck, Superman Return's Brandon Routh kicks off a recurring guest star stint, as Daniel Shaw, a devilishly good looking CIA superagent.
When Awesome (Ryan McPartlin) is mistaken for a super spy by the evil Sydney Price (guest star Angie Harmon, Law & Order), Chuck (Zachary Levi) must become Awesome's handler and show him the spy ropes. While on a mission for The Ring, they meet the mysterious Daniel Shaw.
Tipped to cause some problems between Chuck (Levi) and Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski), Routh admits to TV Guide USA his role is not going to make him very popular with audiences.
"I'm a big fan of Chuck - I just love that show! And I know the fans don't want anyone breaking up Chuck and Sarah. Hey, even I would be mad at my character!"

Actress Fleur Saville reprises her role as the lovable Libby Jeffries on TV2's Shortland Street this week, making a surprise return to Ferndale.
Since leaving Shortland Street earlier this year, Saville has been spending her time travelling, doing theatre work, and having a well-deserved rest, but says she couldn't resist coming back to the Street for this exciting storyline.
"It's been really nice being back in the building. I made some amazing friends during my time on the show, so one of the best things about coming back is getting to hang out with everyone again," says Saville. "I also really love my character Libby, so it's been good fun getting to play her again and for such a fantastic storyline."
Though Saville is tight-lipped about the true reason for Libby's return, she does reveal there may be some romance in the air.

Nine-time Grammy award-winning singer Sheryl Crow arrives in Cougar Town tonight for a special run of guest appearances.
In the first of the singer's three episodes, Crow guest stars as Sara, a confident wine rep who arrives at Grayson's (Josh Hopkins) bar offering more than just a fine vintage. Unfortunately for Sara, Grayson has no idea how to act around a woman his own age, as he's been dating brainless young women since his ex-wife broke his heart. Does he have it in him to enter a real grown-up relationship again?
Crow says she went for the recurring guest role to challenge herself, as she tells What's The Buzz.
"This year has really been about stretching myself, and doing things that are out of my comfort level - and this is definitely out of my comfort level."
