Ralph Waite on Bones

8:30pm - Sunday, March 14 on TV 3
The Waltons star Ralph Waite, who played John Walton on the long running series, is joining David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel when he guest stars as Booth's grandfather in Bones, screening on Sunday, March 14th at 8:30pm on 3.
"This is an important role and when Ralph's name came up we were thrilled," executive producer Stephen Nathan tells Buddy TV. "It's remarkable to see someone at that age so vital."
And that's a good thing, as it sounds like Ralph will need to be spry, considering his character will insist on accompanying his grandson out into the field.
"This is a really good murder," Nathan explains. "All that's left is ash and one foot, and Hank can't help but tag along."
