Maria is devastated after seeing the clip of Carla and Liam kissing. Having missed confronting Carla, she searches the house for evidence of Liam's affair. Finding nothing, she confronts Leanne, but Leanne denies knowing anything, and while Maria leaves frustrated, something in Leanne's tone makes Michelle hang back. Pressured Leanne admits being economical with the truth to spare Maria's feelings. Meanwhile, Maria confronts Rosie for details. Rosie keeps quiet, but when Maria starts threatening to call Tony and tell him about the video, Rosie is forced to reveal that Tony already knows.
Tina's not happy as Joe orders expensive materials and is spending too much cash. David can't see what her problem is, he's given him a job and makes his mum happy, but Tina tells him his behaviour is more complex than him just being Mr Nice Guy.

As Tony plans a surprise honeymoon for Carla she reveals a surprise of her own, she's invited his brother Pat to the wedding. Thrown, Tony claims to be delighted, but Pat's an unwitting loose canon. Later, as Tony prepares for the wedding, he is aware Rosie, Kevin or Maria could still ruin his day. As she makes her entrance a stunning Carla whispers to Leanne she's sure she's doing the right thing and the couple are overjoyed as the ceremony goes without a hitch.

Steve feels guilty as Michelle thanks him for his efforts with her family over breakfast at the café. But when Steve witnesses Jason re-commencing his bid to win Becky back, Steve's hurt seeing her with another man. When Jason appears at the Rovers trying to woo Becky with goldfish, it's the last straw for Steve, who yells at Jason, then storms out. Later, he promises Becky he loves her, she agrees to trust him and leave him to finish with Michelle.
Tony is thrilled when Carla reveals the wedding date to the world then tells him they'll sort out his money troubles together, even taking the blame for the late payment with the staff. Tony is convinced nothing can stand in the way of his and Carla's love. However, Carla is keen to see Rosie, who still has the footage of her kissing Liam.

The court case is adjourned and Steve realises he could still get there in time to save Becky, who is convinced she is going to jail. Formulating a plan to leave the bar, Steve rushes to court in the nick of time. Called as a witness, he takes the stand affirming he's having an affair with Becky - in front of Blanche. Becky's on a high as she's found not guilty and outside she impulsively plants a smacker on Steve.
Dressed as tradesmen, Len and Gary break into the Platt's. Later, when Joe and Gail return, they're shocked to find the kitchen has been ripped out. Knowing it's the work of the Windasses, David tries to bluff, but when Gail finds a dead rat with a note stuck to it bearing a dark message, she demands the truth.

Becky's worried about how Steve's going to make it to her court case. Thinking he's got it sorted, he tells Becky he'll do whatever he needs to be there. Becky makes a sacrifice that could land her in jail.
Hayley forces herself to be upbeat for Roy, but when she hears Joyce is on her way back to Africa, she puts on a brave face. When Hayley reveals she's decided not to go back to work, Roy's scared it means she's changed her mind about Africa.
Dev expects an apology from Amber for ruining his relationship with Tara. But still fuming, she reveals she is off to Finland for a week. In an attempt to patch things up, Dev offers Darryl the manager's job at the kebab shop.

Hayley struggles to settle back into life at Weatherfield. Roy is stunned when she reveals she can't just come back and work in a factory. She assures him she loves him and asks him to go to Africa with her. But when a travel companion visits, she's forced to confront her true feelings.
The Windasses come looking for David and Tina and get distracted by real estate. Amused by the idea of moving, they decide to put their revenge on hold, and Graeme gets a trial at the butcher's.
Amber is furious at Dev, accusing him of breaking up her relationship with Darryl. Dev does little to quell the situation and Nina is left devastated when a bitter and hurt Amber blows the secret of Dev's affair.

Ken pleads with Peter to reconsider, but Peter insists he can't cope and it's for the best. Desperate, Ken says he and Deirdre will care for Simon, and keen to keep him with his family, the social worker agrees. Ken's shocked when Peter announces he's going back to Portsmouth in the morning. However, later Peter learns Lucy has left him a considerable chunk of money, on the condition he cares for Simon. Peter visits the bookies to see if Dan is still up for a quick sale.
When Tony arrives at the factory he feigns shock at their wages having not been paid. Playing for time, he invents a problem with the payroll, and promising bonuses once the glitch is sorted, the workers agree to go back to work. Later, when Tony reveals he can't pay the staff till the current order is finished, they become suspicious.

Fiz is confused by what has happened since she and John returned from their holiday, tonight on Coronation Street (at 7.30pm on TV ONE). Actress Jennie McAlpine says her character, Fiz, feels like a suspect, as she is questioned at the station about Rosie's abduction.
While Fiz denies knowing anything about what John was up to, she insists he is a kind caring person, not a crazed kidnapper, and the police are not convinced. Fiz asks to see John, and as he begs for forgiveness, she is torn - she loves him, but he's broken her heart twice.
McAlpine says, "John has been acting a bit oddly, but she is so full of joy that she hasn't really noticed. He has been going on about going to feed the cat, but she doesn't suspect that there is any other reason he is going to his gran's house."
