Dev struggles to keep his mind on the conversation with Prem as thoughts of an affair with Nina go through his head. He leaves the dinner party pre-occupied and is surprised when his fantasy women, Nina, arrives outside the shop and accompanies him inside. Later, he takes Lisa, the woman from the dinner party, on a second date, but it is clear his mind is elsewhere. As he arrives home, Nina turns up and tells him to get in the car, she wants to take him for a ride.

Kevin visits the garage that has been undercutting him and is annoyed to discover the owner is Tony's mate Jimmy. Angry, Kevin guesses Tony's involved him in a plan to run him out of business. Jimmy denies it. Kevin returns and confronts Tony who denies everything. He is furious that even Sally and Rosie refuse to see what Tony is doing.

Liz does some digging to find out what sort of woman Clarissa is. Satisfied that Clarissa is merely a money grabbing, gold-digger, Liz decides to play hard ball and starts spending time in the bookies to wind her up. Harry asks Liz to stop playing games, but Liz knows he wants to have his cake and eat it too.

Elsewhere, David's dismayed to see Tina's been emailing her ex; the booze cruise gets underway with Janice, the backseat driver, determined to enjoy herself; and John makes some headway with his friendship with Fiz.
