Janice visits Kevin and Sally, and confesses she stole the lottery money. They can't believe she let it go on this long - anything could have happened to Rosie. The factory girls are staggered as Janice is arrested for fraud and theft, but she tells the police she acted alone and has nothing to do with Rosie's disappearance. As she arrives back in the street, Leanne avoids her, and Roger packs his bag, leaving in disgust.

Liam struggles to maintain a loving husband façade and blames his mood on the pressure of organising a stag do for Tony. Later, Carla has a wedding dress fitting and Liam hears Tony say he is banned for the night. Liam visits on the pretext of dropping some papers off, and finds Carla in her wedding dress with the dressmaker and Michelle.

Becky is surprised when people she can't remember insulting ignore her. She heads to Eileen's to collect the rest of her stuff, and is surprised when Jason walks in. He tells her he made a terrible mistake, but Becky tells him no. Roy offers Becky her old room back and she accepts. Later, Becky is taken to the police station and quizzed about the spate of incidents in town. She tells him she has a cast-iron alibi - she is having an affair with her boss and was with him. Released on bail, she rushes to the cab office and tells Steve he has to back her up or she will tell Michelle about their one-night stand.

Elsewhere, Sally is delighted when they get a card from Rosie; Dan is disgusted with Leanne when he finds out what Janice did; Chesney is upset that Fiz is back with John; and Dev is pleased when Tara visits to discuss business.
