The BOX is bringing you the second series of the hit police drama, Criminal Minds.
Criminal Minds revolves around an elite team of FBI profilers who analyse the country's most twisted criminal minds, anticipating their next moves before they strike again.
Special Agent Jason Gideon is the FBI's top behavioural analyst, working with the Behavioural Analysis Unit lead by Special Agent Aaron Hotchner, a family man who is able to gain people's trust and unlock their secrets.
Special Agent Derek Morgan, an expert on obsessional crimes; Special Agent Dr. Spencer Reid, a classically misunderstood genius whose social IQ is as low as his intellectual IQ is high; Jennifer "J.J." Jareau, a confident young agent who acts as the unit liaison for the team, and Penelope Garcia, a computer wizard who helps research the cases.

Possible names for Cougar Town
The team behind Cougar Town are reportedly testing new names for the comedy series. Some of the names bandied around include: Friends and Family, The End of the Street, The Neighbourhood, The Cul De Sac Neighbourhood and Jules Neighbourhooding.

Criminal Minds cuts JJ
Criminal Minds has cut cast member A.J. Cook for the next season of the crime procedural. The producers of the show have said they have not opted to renew the contract of the actress who plays Jennifer “JJ” Jareau. There is no word as to whether she will return long enough to wrap up her storyline.
NCIS re-sign Anthony
Fellow crime drama NCIS has locked down actor Michael Weatherly for the next season of the show. The actor, who has the role of Anthony DiNozzo, has signed a multi-year deal for the series which has also confirmed most of its regulars for season eight.

Criminal Minds returns tonight at 8.30pm on TV ONE, last series viewers were left with a cliffhanger, wondering about the fate of Hotchner when a masked intruder fired a shot in his apartment.
The series revolves around an elite team of FBI profilers who analyse America's most twisted criminal minds, anticipating their next move before they strike again.
The team is lead by special agent Aaron Hotchner (Thomas Gibson, Dharma & Greg), a strong profiler who is able to gain people's trust and unlock their secrets. The team discovers, whilst working on a case about killer who's threaten to kill a doctor's son, and until he succeeds he'll kill one person a day, that Hotchner has gone missing. They must race to save both him and his family, and the doctor's son, as the Reaper continues to hold a grudge against Hotchner.

When there are no further leads to a serial case, the FBI quickly turns to the Behavioural Analysis Unit in Quantico. While regular detectives study the evidence of a crime, this unit looks at the behaviour of the criminal to narrow down the suspect pool. They hunt from the inside out - not examining evidence in a lab, instead studying offenders' behaviour both at the scenes of the crimes and where they live or work in order to see how they think.

In Mandy Patinkin’s final episode of Criminal Minds, the future of the department is in jeopardy as the team faces one of their toughest cases yet.
In Milwaukee, a series of women have been found murdered. The BAU is assigned to the case, but they are short three members: Gideon (Patinkin), who is missing, Hotch (Thomas Gibson), who is on suspension and Prentiss (Paget Brewster), who resigns her commission to join the Foreign Service. Supervisor Strauss (Jayne Atkinson) steps in as lead, but she doesn't handle herself well in the field.
Meanwhile, another woman has been kidnapped, and judging by video footage from her last known location, she was lured by a child decoy. The team formulates a profile for the killer, and recognises that they should be looking for a child who stands out from the crowd.

Leading the team is academic Jason Gideon (Mandy Pantinkin), the FBI's top behavioural analyst with his right-hand man Aaron Hotchner (Thomas Gibson). Also on the team are Emily Prentiss (Paget Brewster), the daughter of high-powered diplomats who recently joined the team and must prove her worth; Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore), an expert on obsessional crimes; Jennifer 'J.J.' Jareau (A.J. Cook), a confident young agent who acts as the unit liaison for the team; and Penelope Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness), a computer wizard who helps research the cases.
