CBS to shelve Criminal Minds episode after Virginia Tech tragedy
CBS is shelving next week's episode of "Criminal Minds" over sensitivity concerns with regards to the Virginia Tech tragedy. A repeat of an earlier installment ("Jones") will run instead.
The episode in question, "Doubt," revolves around a serial killer who is targeting women on a college campus.
The news comes on the heels of FOX's decision earlier this week to pull an episode of "Bones" for similar reasons.
It's still not clear if either the "Bones" or "Criminal Minds" episode will air before the season is out.

Katie
First of all, my heart goes out to all the families who lost someone they loved in that shooting.
Second, however, I don't think they should 'shelve' this episode. This show is not based on reality. It is a storyline the writers made way before the tragic event. If people don't want to watch Doubt because of that, then don't. I wouldn't mind them delaying Doubt for a week or something, but they better not erase it. Every Criminal Minds episode is based on some sort of murder senario and there is going to be some family out their who knows a victim that was hurt that way. If they never aired episode because of that, there wouldn't be Criminal Minds.
