Based securely on medical research and the opinions of international experts this documentary challenges the way the osteoporosis statistics are gathered; the way both osteopenia and osteoporosis have been diagnosed and the effectiveness of the drugs offered to well women as a ‘preventative measure’.

It also explains how our bones actually renew themselves, explores possible side effects that can accompany some of the treatments and looks at simple and effective strategies women can adopt to keep their bones healthy and strong.
