Entourage Premiere

Finally, the waiting for this brilliant series is over! Entourage starts Friday, November 24, 10.00pm TV2.

Entourage is the new, Emmy award-winning comedy from the producers of Sex And The City and The Sopranos, and is executive produced by Mark Wahlberg.

The series takes a look at the day-to-day life of Vince Chase (Adrian Grenier), a hot young Hollywood actor, and the entourage he's brought to L.A. from his hometown in Queens, NY.

Manager Eric, half-brother Drama, and friend Turtle all bask in Vince's fame, while doing their best to manage and maintain his increasingly crazy lifestyle. Vince is sexy, young, and on the cusp of superstardom, and he looks to his faithful entourage to share in the fun and to keep him grounded. Together, they experience the ups and downs of life in the fast lane of Hollywood - where the stakes are high and the money and temptations are greater than ever before.

Entourage draws on the experiences of industry insiders to illustrate both the heady excesses of today's celebrity lifestyle, as well as the difficulty of finding love and success while on show-biz's fast track. Adding to the authenticity of this clever satire of Hollywood lives is an impressive list of guest stars. Making cameo appearances throughout the series, as themselves, are Hollywood stars including: Jessica Alba, Luke Wilson, Sarah Silverman, Ali Larter, Jimmy Kimmel, Gary Busey and Scarlett Johansson.

Executive producer Mark Wahlberg also makes a cameo appearance in the first episode, along with his real entourage - on whom the series is loosely based - and he emphasises the term 'loose'. Wahlberg says, "I couldn't really do too much of my own stuff and experiences with 'Entourage' because I would really get into trouble if I put that on screen. I would have to kill a lot of people first!"

As we meet the boys from Entourage in the first episode, they're living the player's life. The crew spend most of their time relaxing at Vince's house in the Hollywood Hills, shooting hoops, playing rooftop golf and entertaining ladies at the pool, as his latest film about to hit screens across the country. But to keep the lifestyle going, Vince has to keep making movies, and his shark of an agent, Ari (Jeremey Piven in his Emmy Award-winning role), thinks he's found just the project. "Too busy" to read the script himself, Vince presses Eric, the only person he really trusts, for his honest appraisal. Meanwhile, Turtle and Drama are focusing on a group of hot women they've brought back to the house - they're not letting business get in the way of their good time&

Get a glimpse of the Hollywood high-life on Entourage, TV2 Friday 24 November, 10.00pm.

The changing timeslot is most likely because it and other programming follows the Friday night movie on TV2. I suggest keeping an eye on your local TV listings or your Sky Digital Guide.

Shows often take a break over the Christmas period, traditionally a time of low ratings to make way for movies and other TV specials.

No shi*, Constantly changing the time slot each week!?? WTF and this week they didn't even play it... I've already watched season 1 and 2 already... Looks like I aint even going to bother with TVNZ's bullshi* programming for entourage... show some respect, that show is worth it.

I taped it and recently watched it, didn't love it but will probably watch the rest of the season. Nice celeb cameos by producer Mark Wahlberg (new film invincible is pretty darn good!) and Ali Larter (the blonde one from final destination 2). Pretty much expect cameos each episode which will be fun and a big highlight of the show. Not really a man's sex and the city, a bit more lighter and toned down. Not extremly funny more sarcastic especially about real celebrities -Vaughn story was funny, Brosnan, Farrell etc. Turtle gettings annoying easily (which he's suppose to do, but not this well) Connolly was pretty flat, recently split up in real life with a big celebrity. Mr Dillon steals the show and gets most laughs.

Well, this show was quite simply fantastic. Give Jeremy Piven another Emmy. His playing Ari was comic gold.

I watched it last night and to be honest i thought it was total rubbish. Watchable but just not that entertaining. Although the Tommy Lee Goes to School afterwoods was tops.
